The album 'Brilleaux: Live at the Masonic' by Tauranga band 'Brilleaux' was produced by Fragile Colours Music, an independent record label based in the sunny Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

Another live outing by The Fabulous, Most Groovy Brilleaux.  In this release, the Tauranga four piece take their hard driving brand of English Rhythm and Blues to Auckland for a gig at the Masonic Hotel.

Brilleaux live at the Masonic

The result is this live CD of ten stonking tracks, featuring 5 cover versions of classic British R&B and 5 self penned Brilleaux tunes, including 3 previously unreleased tracks.  This CD effortlessly conjures up the atmosphere of a Brilleaux performance – the grinding guitars of Bruce Rolands, the taut and funky rhythm section held down by Beano Gilpin and Brian Franks, plus the searing harp playing and engaging vocals of Graham Clark all lead you into the hot, sweaty, high energy powerhouse of a Brilleaux gig.  Best played loud with complete disregard for the neighbours.
