Salonika Aerial Photographs (1914-1918). A fold out series of three photographs that belonged to town planner Robert Thomson Goulding (1886-1987). After spending time in Auckland studying and working in the City Engineer's Office he was sent to Tauranga in 1909 to carry out triangulation work for the Government. Robert became part of the Hauraki Regiment and 8th Survey Company, Royal Engineers during the First World War and present at Gallipoli and Salonika. After the war ended he returned to Tauranga to live. The library also holds his pay book.
