Details some of Owen Dippie works in Tauranga: Ena Te Papatahi, Girl with the Pearl Earring, God and Adam & the Virgin Mary.

  • Ena Te Papatahi, which appears on a wall of the Masonic car park, is a copy of a painting by CW Goldie. It was painted by local artist Owen Dippie, who is well known nationally and internationally for his spray painted wall art.
  • Vermeer’s Girl with the Pearl Earring was painted by Dippie on the wall of Kale Print on Cameron Road.
  • Michelangelo’s God and Adam from the Sistine Chapel ceiling is another of Dippies’s depictions, on the Elizabeth Streetcar park building.
  • The newest of Dippie’s artworks depicts the Virgin Mary from Michaelangelo’s masterpiece sculpture Pieta. This is above the entrance to the Elizabeth Street car park Building.
