Omokoroa bushman Edwin John Plummer was killed in action in France on 6 May 1918.

Edwin John Plummer was born in Waihi on 3 November 1885. His parents were Edwin and Elizabeth Plummer.

He worked as a bushman at Omokoroa.

He enlisted on 12 January 1916 and served with the Entrenching Battalion, NZEF (Service No. 11531). His last rank was private. 

Edwin was killed in action in France on 6 May 1918, aged 30.
