Topic: Tauranga Roll of Honour: World War One

Topic type:

Several names of those killed during World War I are missing from Tauranga's war memorials. This page is an attempt to list those Tauranga people who served during World War One. It is a collaboration between Fiona Kean from the Tauranga Heritage Collection and Debbie McCauley from Tauranga City Libraries. Fiona's book 'From Tauranga to the Trenches' provides an excellent insight into Tauranga during the 1914-1918 period of warfare.
