White cross for John Graham Snodgrass (1888-1917).

Caption

Tauranga surveryor's assistant John Graham Snodgrass saw action at Gallipoli before being killed in action at Ypres in Belgium on 10 December 1917. In 2014 Tauranga's 'Field of Remembrance' was created comprising 107 white crosses in memory of the men from the Tauranga area who died during World War I (1914-1918).
