WWI diary of James Joseph Hamilton Nisbet (1895-1973)

Sandra Culham, along with her husband and daughter talked to the library about her grandfather, James as part of the 2015 Threads of Memory project. James was wounded during the Battle of the Somme but survived and was later awarded an MBE. He also served during World War II (Service Number 23/1768). The diary was scanned with Sandra's permission and made available under a creative commons licence. A high quality scan is available at Tauranga City Libraries.
