Elizabeth was born on the 26th February 1853 at Viney Green Mangotsfield the second child of George Jefferies and Mary nee Moreman .
Elizabeth was baptised on the3rd April 1853 at S James Church Mangotsfield by Rev Robert Brodie
Elizabeth's family stayed in Mangotsfield where her Dad was the Over man (Supervisor or Manager )in the Parkfield Coal Mine
Elizabeth Jefferies married Alfred Self Silcox on the 2 October 1870 at Holy Trinity Church Kingswood Bristol .Alfred gives is occupation as a labourer
In the 1871 Alfred and Elizabeth are living in Gloster Cottage Clifton Bristol and his occupation is Labourer on the Docks
