Colonel Greer's Cottage.

This cottage is named after Colonel Harpur Greer, Commander of the British troops based in Tauranga in 1864, even though he actually lived in one of Tauranga's earliest houses, "High Trees".

The cottage was originally the servants quarters and washhouse for "High Trees" and was moved to the Village in 1979 from its original location near the Durham Redoubt.
