Around 30 people attended from pre-schoolers to adults. Gavin talked about his journey to becoming an author, how he produces his books and the different styles of artwork he uses. He showed the audience the book he draws his storyboards in. It contains about 15 years of work - lots of rough pencil drawings sketching out his ideas for each page of a book.

Gavin talked about his latest book to be published, 'Quaky Cat Helps Out', and the forthcoming Chinese translations of his two 'Bruiser' books and 'Teddy One Eye'. Gavin also answered many questions from the audience and happily signed copies of his books that audience members had brought along with them.
