Henry Stewart was known as 'Harry', He drove coaches for R.M. Coaching Co. in Rotorua before enlisting during World War I. Henry died of his wounds in France on 24 October 1918. In 2014 Tauranga's 'Field of Remembrance' was created comprising 107 white crosses in memory of the men from the Tauranga area who died during World War I (1914-1918).
