Topic type:

A small cottage on site at the Tauranga Waldorf School houses the school shop.

The Crafty Pukeko BuildingThis cottage houses the Crafty Pukeko, the craft shop of the Tauranga Rudolf Steiner School. The building was donated to the school by Riverlee Homes in 2000 and firstly located next to the Cowshed. In 2004 it was relocated with the help of a crane during a school working bee to move the ‘Whakatane Hotel Accommodation’ building on site. The shop is co-ordinated by Jocelyn Fiefield and staffed by volunteers. Stock includes Waldorf crafts, toys, paints, crayons, musical instruments and books. The profit from the shop provides funds for various school projects.
