Māori warriors fighting for their land.

British soldiers shooting at Māori.

Seagulls crying from the sky.

British soldiers want Māori land.

Māori warriors doing the haka with their taiaha.

British and Māori dying on the battle field.

Māori warriors fighting to defend their whanau and Mana.

Māori warriors win the battle at gate pa.

PUKEHINAHINA ROTAROTA

KA WHAWHAI NGā TOA Māori mo to ratou whenua.

Ka puhia te iwi pākeha ki ngā iwi Māori.

Ka tangi mokemoke ngā kāroro I te rāngi.

Whenua Māori hoia Pākeha.

Ka hakahaka te iwi Māori me o nātou taiaha.

Mate atu mate mai ngā iwi e rua.

Ka whawhai mo te whawhaiatu mo ngā whanau o ngā Māori.

KA WINI NGā Māori I te paka tuatahi.
